Today was an earlier start, 7:30am breakfast and then out the door to Pylos Bay for a day on the water. We explored the series of Sphacteria Island, located in Navarino Bay, Greece, is a significant historical site. It has natural barriers that protect the bay from strong winds. Two important naval battles occurred here: one in 425 BC during the Peloponnesian War between Athens and Sparta, and another in 1827, which was crucial for Greek independence.

We ended the day with some journalling, Beach Games led by Mr. Doland and our Senior School leaders, Amelie and Oliva, and a final sunset swim in the Ionian Sea.
