Travel Day

The Grade 8s began their journey to Greece this afternoon. We are currently waiting in Vancouver to board our long flight to Munich.

It was an incredibly long travel day as we encountered a two hour delay in Munich. The 8s did amazing and we made the most of the layover. Some used the time to get their research done for their focus day, some played foosball with Mr. Doland, many soaked up the last bit of tech time making face time calls etc.

We flew into Athens as the sun was setting , and the saw disappear behind the mountains as we landed. We grabbed our bags, met Amélie (one of our senior student leaders), and raced to meet the locals who were picking us up to drive us the 3 hours across the country to Kyparissia, (our home for the next 7 days).

Phones were collected and students began their tech free adventure.

We arrived late to the hotel, so everyone headed to their rooms for check in and lights out.

Tomorrow is Turtle day, beach clean and a fun scavenger hunt around the old and new town of Kyparissia.
